Nigeria Entrepreneurs Award is remarkably the most prestigious and highly celebrated Business award in Nigeria, Celebrating Entrepreneurs and game changers of Business in Nigeria for their continuing commitment to excellence, developing best practices and innovative strategies.
The judging process for Nigeria Entrepreneurs Award is robust. It is drive by intensive research to identify worthy nominees who have shown outstanding entrepreneurial and corporate behavior i.e. delivered immense value to its customers, shareholders and whose impact have benefited the society in the course of the year.
After the initial short list, each nominee will be assessed and scored by a judging panel comprising of twenty (20) credible business professionals, consultants and selected past winners of the award will decide who the country’s most outstanding companies and entrepreneurs are.
Winners will be honoured at the Award dinner, a night of fun relaxation, networking and rejuvenation.
As Nigeria grapples with an unsteady economy and ensuing challenges such as double digit unemployment rates, any hope for a turnaround depends mostly on entrepreneurs. In the light of this, entrepreneurship continuously comes under spotlight as the Federal Government looks up to the innovation and talent of these entrepreneurs to drive business growth and thus provide remedy for the chronic unemployment in the country.

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has provision for the execution of the One Local Government One Product (OLOP) in the 2017 appropriation act. The One Local Government One Product (OLOP) programme is a bottom-top approach specifically designed to promote Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) development in communities by focusing on products distinctive to their regions where they have comparative advantage, and cultivate same through value-addition into a national and global brand.As part of its implementation strategy, the Agency will partner financial institutions and cooperative societies/Self Help Groups (SHG) across the country.
